Installation Instructions

1. Excavate hole, make area 4-6 inches longer and approximately 6 inches deeper than the suggested burial height of the pedestal being installed. 2. Place 4 to 6 inches of crushed stone or gravel in the hole and tamp. This helps with drainage properties and provides a solid base to help combat movement and settling of the installed unit.

3. Place the unit, WITH COVER INSTALLED, into the hole on top of the tamped gravel. 4. Place the excavated dirt back in the hole around the installed unit and tamp lightly with foot. Ensure that the unit remains level and at the correct height. 5. Remove cover and then reinstall cover to ensure proper fit and that locking capability has not been compromised.
