Beginning over 10 years ago as a biennial sales conference, the Global Training Conference (GTC) is a 3-4 day training event for HPS sales, engineering, management and customer service personnel. This year’s event was held in Atlanta, GA from September 13-17. Over 180 employees were present as well as more than 30 individuals between internal and external speakers and staff. This year’s GTC was designed to offer attendees high energy training in a variety of subjects that they could use to grow both professionally and personally. The conference was titled Hubbell University and in keeping with the theme, attendees registered for their own classes, joined fraternities and participated in graduation. Power Systems plans to continue the training offered to additional employees throughout its facilities. GLOBAL TRAINING CONFERENCE HUBBELL POWER SYSTEMS’
