WEBBING SLINGS

TABLE A SLING ANGLES

How To Carry Two Full Buckets • Above illustrations typify the stresses imposed on slings when legs are attached to the load at various angles • While rated capacities are shown in this catalog, these tables were inserted primarily to show the severe reduction in capacity when a sling is operated at a wide angle • Whenever head room permits, it is recommended that the angle with the vertical not exceed 45° • Where head room is small and sling must be spread at an excessive angle, special care must be used in selecting a sling • In such cases, consult your distributor or Hubbell Power Systems, Inc.
