The BFB terminals lugs are an innovative compression solution for connecting the ends of flexible bus bar. Offering a faster, safer, and cleaner alternative tomethods used today, these lugs are compatiblewithmost sizes of flexible bus bar. Installedwith the 750 Series of 12-ton crimp tools with specifically designedUBFB-style dies. Typically used in panel boards, switchboards, transformers and similar applications, flexible bus bar is gaining popularity. After the flexible bus bar has been shaped and customized for the application at hand, it must be connected to the structure. Typical installationmethods rely on drilling (time consumingwith a risk of inaccuracy of customized stud holes), punching (which can distort the shape of the conductor), andwelding (can be hazardous and requires specific training). Utilizing the newBFB terminals lugs requires No Drilling, No Punching, andNoWelding for proper, inspectable installation.
